1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PackSoapBoxes.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by PackSoapBoxes.com. By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or submitting any design or content, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. You should review these Terms periodically.
2. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
3. Intellectual Property & Customer Content
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of PackSoapBoxes.com or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the designs and content you upload (“Customer Content”). By placing an order, you grant PackSoapBoxes.com a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and create derivative works of your Customer Content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order, storing records, and displaying examples (with your permission where required).
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use the Customer Content.
- Your Content does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any applicable law.
- You will not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
We reserve the right to reject, remove, or refuse any order that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
4. Design & Artwork Requirements
All customer-submitted artwork must be provided in CMYK color mode at a minimum of 300 DPI. PackSoapBoxes.com is not responsible for:
- Color shifts that occur when converting RGB to CMYK.
- Blurriness, pixelation, or distortion caused by low-resolution or improperly prepared files.
- Any errors in spelling, layout, content, or design present in customer-approved artwork.
We provide design templates at 72 DPI by default for web viewing. Higher-resolution files or vector files are available upon request for an additional fee.
5. Proofing and Approval
Customer approval is required before every print job. After you place an order, we will send you a digital proof and job specification sheet via email.
You are solely responsible for carefully reviewing the proof for:
- Spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Layout, image placement, and design accuracy
- Product specifications, quantity, and delivery date
- All other details
Once you approve the proof, production begins exactly as approved. PackSoapBoxes.com is not liable for any errors that were not caught by the customer prior to approval.
Screen proofs are for layout, text, and positioning only. They do not guarantee exact color reproduction. Lamination, coatings, and finishing processes may alter the final appearance of colors. We strongly recommend printing the proof at 100% scale for review.
6. Materials & Color Accuracy
Unless explicitly stated in writing, all materials used are not food-grade. If you require food-safe, recycled, or special materials, you must specify this in writing before placing the order.
We make reasonable efforts to match submitted colors, but exact color matching cannot be guaranteed due to variations in monitors, inks, materials, and finishing processes. If exact color matching is critical, you must request a physical hardcopy proof (additional charges apply).
7. Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order before production begins. Once an order has been sent to press or shipped, cancellation is not possible.
Cancellation fees apply as follows:
- Stage 1 (before design processing): $15 + 5% of order value
- Stage 2 (during design processing): Minimum 20% of order value
- Stage 3 (after sent to press): Minimum 50% of order value (cancellation not guaranteed)
- Stage 4 (shipped): No cancellation allowed
Design-only orders are non-refundable once the design process has started.
8. Returns, Reprints & Refunds
All products are custom manufactured to your specifications. All sales are final.
If we are found to have made a production error, we will reprint the affected portion of the order at no extra charge. Refunds are only issued where required by applicable law.
You must notify us of any defects, damages, or missing items within 3 business days of delivery. To receive a reprint, you must return at least 99% of the original order (at your expense) within 10 days, with prior written authorization from us.
Industry standard allows a ±5% variance in quantity. We may include a small number of extra pieces or ship slightly fewer.
9. Shipping & Delivery
Production timelines begin only after final proof approval is received by 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Approvals after this time will add one business day.
We offer the following options (ground shipping within the 48 contiguous United States):
- Standard: Ships in 10–14 business days (not guaranteed)
- Priority: Guaranteed to ship within 8 business days
- Express: Guaranteed to ship within 6 business days
We are not liable for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, technical problems, labor disputes, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees.
10. Holidays
Production and shipping schedules are affected by major U.S. holidays (New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, etc.).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PackSoapBoxes.com, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property)
- Any Content you submitted
12. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The Site and all services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PackSoapBoxes.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Florida, administered by the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court.
14. Miscellaneous
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PackSoapBoxes.com.
- If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
- You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
